Kingsgate Insurance Acquires Calvert & Johnson Insurance Services

Acquisition Expands Insurance Expertise and Product Offerings Across North-Central Iowa

Fort Dodge, IA — Kingsgate Insurance is proud to announce its acquisition of Calvert & Johnson Insurance Services, effective June 30, 2025. The acquisition further strengthens Kingsgate’s commitment to Fort Dodge and the surrounding communities, while bringing a team of respected professionals into its growing organization.

As part of the transition, Calvert & Johnson clients will continue working with the same trusted advisors they’ve known—ensuring a seamless experience, especially given the shared carrier partnerships between both agencies. In addition, these clients will now gain access to a broader range of insurance markets and product lines through Kingsgate, including employee benefits, agribusiness, and crop insurance. They’ll also benefit from exclusive risk management resources—previously available only to Kingsgate clients—designed to support business owners with HR compliance, workplace safety, and other operational challenges.
